Sonali Mayadev Thatte is a mother of two, a writer, designer, experimental cook, spiritual seeker, red cross volunteer and all around multi-tasker. Sonali grew up in Mumbai, India (when it was still Bombay) where she studied to be an architect before deciding to be a writer. She interviewed eminent Indian artists and designers as an architectural journalist and then moved to America where she studied how to dumb down deadly dull technical drivel so the intellectually challenged masses could understand it. She currently divides her time between convincing her readers that technology really does make sense and convincing herself that driving two preschoolers to and from a variety of unrelated activities is good parenting. Sonali lives in Ann Arbor, MI with her very patient and often amused husband and two children who demand both patience and a sense of humour.
